Another time saver! You can't go wrong with pesto and this recipe proves it! In all honesty, this recipe is so easy you could probably recreate it just by looking at it!
QUICK & EASY PESTO MOZZ PIZZA
1 store bought pizza dough or crust (I used H-E-B Traditional Thin and Crispy 12 Inch Pizza Crusts®)
1/2 cup basil pesto (I used Buitoni Pesto With Basil®)
1/2 red onion, sliced
optional: 1 handful cherry tomatoes, halved (Roma work great too)
sliced mozzarella cheese
Follow the instructions on the package for the dough or crust and preheat the oven.
Generously spread your desired amount of pesto onto the crust. Top with mozzarella, red onion, and cherry tomatoes.
Place in oven for directed cooking time, until sides are crisp and cheese is melted.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Optional: garnish with basil.
