A simple, yet delicious crispy ground beef taco- the perfect compliment to any Taco Tuesday!

  • 1 lb. ground beef (I use 80/20)

  • 1 onion, minced

  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp. chili powder

  • 1 tsp. cumin

  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1 tsp. paprika

  • 1 & 1/2 tsp. kosher salt

  • crispy taco shells

  • iceberg lettuce, shredded

  • sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (about 1 cup)

  • pico de gallo

  • Preheat oven according to the instructions on the crispy taco package.

  • In a bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, and kosher salt. Mix to incorporate.

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add the minced onion to the skillet and cook until translucent.

  • Next, add in the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

  • In the meantime, heat the taco shells according to the instructions.

  • Add the taco seasoning to the beef and cook for about 3-4 minutes.

  • Fill the crispy tacos with the ground beef mixture, top with lettuce, cheese, and pico de gallo.

  • Serve and enjoy!
