These elk sliders come topped with sweet caramelized onions and a tangy sauce!

ELK SLIDERS
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. ground elk
1 tsp season salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
tsp. pepper
3 slices pepper jack cheese, cut into fourths
Hawaiian dinner rolls
1 large onion, peeled and sliced
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
for the sauce:
1/4 cup mayo
1 tbsp. ketchup
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. onion powder
1 & 1/2 tbsp. chopped pickles
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine onions, butter, olive oil, sugar and salt in a skillet. Cook for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally until onions are golden brown.
Combine ground elk, seasoned salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and form into 2-inch patties. Place patties in a skillet and cook 4 minutes per side.
Place pepper jack cheese on each patty and let melt. If desired, slice dinner rolls in half and place in skillet used to cook meat to lightly toast.
Mix all ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl.
Serve slider topped with caramelized onions and sauce.
