Sautéd Broccolini

A great side dish for just about any meal, this broccolini side dish is capable fo freshening up just about any meal.





  • 2 bundles broccolini

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 tsp. garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes

  • juice of 1/2 a lemon

  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Bring water to boil in a pot.

  • Chop the ends off of the broccolini and blanch them in the water for about 2 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.

  • Heat a sauté pan over medium-high heat and add in the oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes cooking until fragrant.

  • Add in the broccolini and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until warmed through.

  • Remove from heat and toss with lemon juice.

  • Serve immediately.
