Devil's Food Cake

This is a decadent, rich, and most amazing chocolate cake. Here's your ticket to becoming the most requested guest at any dinner party. As with the previous dessert, I forgot to take a picture before serving, but I cropped the one from my instagram story and tried my best. They taste better than they look in these pictures, I promise. :)
DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE GANACHE
2 cups AP flour
1 1/4 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup whole milk
1 cup coffee, cooled- but not cold
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
for the icing:
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/8 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Sift the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, and sugar into a bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, milk, coffee, eggs, and vanilla.
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet until fully incorporated.
Pour the mixture into your pan/ or pans of choice and place in the oven for 40-45 or until you can stick a toothpick in the cake and pull it out clean.
Let cool to room temperature before releasing from the pan.
for the icing:
Place the heavy cream and chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl and heat one 30 seconds to 1 minute, then add in the salt. Stir the mixture until it is smooth and then pour it over your cake.
